Attend an Event. Check. Let’s do it Again!
This is something that has been just siting on my To do list for quite some time. I had all the excuses in the world not to check it off. Don’t have the time, too busy, something might go wrong, won’t fit in, social fear, blah blah blah.
Thankfully I didn’t let my excuses get in the way this time. Can you believe it? I’ve never been to a concert and I’m in my 20’s. I wanted to experience it at least once and asked my friends if they had gone before to get their feedback. Surprisingly they hadn’t either.
The very same day we looked at EventFinder and saw that Ed Sheeran was coming to New Zealand. Our tickets were booked.
The concert was nothing like I imagined. Sitting there in the stand, I wondered why it took so long for me to do this. It was a one of a kind experience, literally as Ed Sheeran used a loop track where the beats were made live and deleted at the end of the show.
Thanks to my friends I experienced something new. Pushed myself out of my comfort zone and actually enjoyed it. I was to caught up in life’s habits and patterns that I delayed this experience. When you try something new you loosen the cords, you break what’s automatic and actually give your self time to think, see things for how they are and feel something different.
Try something new you have been putting off, you never know you might actually enjoy it. Gonna go to more concerts now, already booked my next one 😁
