5 Second rule- Mel Robbins

Mel Robbins has come up with a neat trick which you all may have heard off on your self-development journey. The 5 Second rule!

This neat trick gets us to do what we have been putting off in a very simple way.

I challenge you to spend just one day using the 5 second rule to act on your instincts. When you feel like sleeping in but know you shouldn’t count down from 5 ,4, 3, 2 ,1 and make the move. When you have the urge to ask a question but feel hesitant simply count down 5,4,3,2,1 and put up your hand.

With a simple count down we are released from the shackles of over thinking and regain our power.
